Upholstery and carpet cleaning

What the service includes, what it costs and how to start

Extraction cleaning: the solution goes into the pile under pressure and is drawn straight back out with the soiling — the covering is never left soaked through. We work the night shift and build in drying time so the site is ready by opening.

Control
and oversight

Four mechanisms that make quality something you can check, not something we claim.

Method statement item by item Every covering and piece of furniture has its cleaning method — fixed as an appendix to the contract.
Tested before cleaning The product is tried on a inconspicuous area of each fabric type. We show you the result on the stains before work starts.
Moisture checked Residual moisture is measured with an instrument, not judged by hand: the site is handed over dry, not “nearly dry”.
Photo report item by item Photographs of every item are attached to the record — you see the condition before and after, not a general impression.

Frequently asked questions

Tap a question to open the answer.

Extraction takes most of the moisture out straight away; after that it’s air movers and ventilation. Carpet is usually ready by morning after a night shift; dense upholstery takes longer. We check residual moisture with an instrument and don’t hand the site back until the covering is dry.

Technically yes, but the area has to come out of use for the cleaning and drying, and an extraction machine is noisy. So by default we work at night or at the weekend. If the site runs around the clock, we split it into sections and agree the order.

Honest answer: not every one. Fresh grease and food marks come out almost always; old ink, paint and marks from staining drinks on pale fabric can stay as a shadow. We show you the result on specific stains at the test, before work starts, so you decide knowing the outcome.

Before cleaning we identify the fabric and test the product on a inconspicuous area. Delicate and non-washable materials are cleaned dry. Liability for damage to coverings is covered by insurance.

It depends on the traffic. Meeting rooms and offices — usually once a year; open-plan floors and corridors twice; entrance areas and reception more often. The frequency is set at the survey and can be added to a regular contract as a separate appendix.

Restoring and reupholstering furniture, repairing mechanisms, removing odours after flooding or fire, and cleaning antique or leather furniture that needs specialist care. All of it is priced separately and agreed in advance.
