What the service includes, what it costs and how to start

Construction dust keeps settling for several days, so the site isn’t cleaned once but in three stages: a rough clean with the debris taken out, a finish clean once the dust has settled, and a check pass before handover. The site is handed over on a signed record with photographs of every area.

Ceiling: dry dust removal, mortar splashes → damp wipe, fine dust and streaks
Light fittings and pendants: film removed, dusted → diffusers washed, installation dust
Vent grilles: construction dust removed → damp wipe
Tops of cabinets and everything above 1.8 m: dust and debris → damp wipe for settled dust
Cornices and beams: runs and dust → damp wipe

Walls, sockets, cable trunking, radiators: mortar splashes, paint, stickers → wiped free of dust and streaks
Doors, frames, architraves: film removed, foam and mortar → washed, adhesive residue from the film
Touchpoints — handles, buttons, handrails: construction soiling → wiped with disinfectant

Windows and glazing

Windows and glazing inside: film removed, paint and mortar off the glass → washed, streaks and adhesive residue
Glass partitions: rough clean → washed and polished on both sides
Blinds and shutters: construction dust removed → damp wipe

Furniture

Cabinets outside: construction dust and film → wiped for settled dust
Cabinets inside, shelves and recesses: dust removed from recesses → shelves damp wiped
Soft furniture: usually sheeted, dusted as needed → vacuumed, dust off the upholstery
Desks, shelves, racking: dust and stickers → damp wipe
Equipment on the furniture: usually sheeted, dusted → wiped free of construction dust

Floors and coverings

Hard floors and skirting: mortar, paint, debris, rough wash → finish wash, streaks and stains
Carpet and soft coverings: usually sheeted, construction dust vacuumed → vacuumed, fine dust

Sanitary ware: mortar, stickers, protective film → washed with disinfectant, dust and streaks

Wall and floor tiling: grout, mortar, film → washed, cement haze
Dispensers: left alone on the rough clean → damp wipe

Work surfaces and sink: mortar and protective film → washed, construction dust and streaks

Extraction hood: construction dust off the housing → housing washed, filters as a separate option

Waste and removal

Bins: construction debris taken out, emptied → emptied and washed

Site survey

We look at what has been left behind, the state of the coverings and the removal routes, and record which works are still running and what must not be touched.

Method statement by area broken into stages, crew size, list of equipment and a fixed price.

03 to the construction programme
Rough stage

Debris removed and the first dust extraction. Done straight after the works finish so the site can be inspected.

Finish and handover

Finish cleaning once the dust has settled, a check pass, the acceptance record and photographs of every area.

In what has to come off and in the order of work. After construction it’s dust, paint, adhesive, filler and cement, plus removing protective films — none of that is in a deep clean. And it’s done in three stages with a pause, because the dust doesn’t settle straight away. A deep clean works on a clean site and in one pass.

We collect leftover materials, packaging and rags and take them to an agreed point. Skip removal is a separate service, agreed in advance with the building’s property manager: it needs a permit, a route and a time slot.

Yes, if the works are in other rooms. The site is then split into sections and the cleaned areas are closed off so they don’t get dirty again. If fit-out continues in the same area, the rough stage waits until it finishes — otherwise the work gets done twice.

We are. Before starting we record the condition of the finishes, we use products matched to the specific material, and liability is covered by insurance. Delicate surfaces — fresh lacquer, soft stone, painted panels — are tested on a inconspicuous area and the method is agreed with you.

Strip-out, putting right construction defects, skip removal, industrial duct cleaning and high-access facade work. All of it is priced separately and agreed in advance.
